“Most people would probably describe me as a cynic. I prefer to think that I’m a realist but I’m not going to quibble over semantics.”

If you were to ask my husband what he thinks about Oximunol Chewable Tablets he’ll undoubtedly tell you he hates them.

And it’s no wonder.  Since starting the Oximunol supplement our dog has gone from glorified doormat to a full-throttle puppy again.  And that has my husband scrambling to try to keep up.

In the “good old days” (my husband’s words, not mine), Solar could be found aimlessly wandering the house or struggling to hop up onto the sofa for a quiet nap. But now, she’s having a blast chasing after my two young daughters and playing with the family cat. It’s a change that I still have a hard time believing.

Cynicism or realism? Either way, it takes a lot to convince me of a product’s merits.

Most people would probably describe me as a cynic. I prefer to think that I’m a realist but I’m not going to quibble over semantics.  To be fair, I am known for finding the tarnish on other people’s silver lining but in this day and age I believe that this level of cynicism is a must.  As a Registered Veterinary Technician who worked in clinics for many years I know that there is no shortage of products on the market that promise to increase mobility and I’ve just about tried them all.

Truth be told, before trying the Oximunol I had already tried giving glucosamine, omega fatty acids and green lipped mussel as well as several Joint Diets to help get Solar up and moving again.

With the exception of a wicked case of vomiting and diarrhea, no changes were noted.  Which is why I certainly was not going to hold my breath when I started Solar on the Oximunol. But then I started to see some changes.  At first, I was convinced that I was only seeing a difference in Solar’s mood and mobility because of some strange placebo effect. But when Solar started going up and down the stairs on her own again for the first time in years there was no denying that the Oximunol was actually helping.

I’ve gone from skeptic to pusher.

I actually find myself stopping random pet owners on my street to tell them about the wonders of this new supplement. Literally. I actually chased down my neighbor to tell him about Oximunol for his pug who he has taken to walking using his kid’s wagon because the little dog can’t easily walk anymore.

But I digress…

The changes I have seen in Solar are undeniable.

Try as I might to justify them and find other reasons for the transformation, the fact remains that since starting the Oximunol Solar is like a new dog.  Of course my love for her hasn’t changed; she’s my third, slightly hairy child and there is nothing that would make me love her any more or less. But for the first time in years I’m actually enjoying her company again.  She’s playful and energetic and just plain fun – something I couldn’t have said if you had asked me a few months ago.  And while my husband might not be too excited about the changes, my daughters are thrilled to have their best friend back.

Now if only I could find something for my husband….
